So my front bumper was a huge eyesore (rock chipped to hell and just really ratty looking from previous owners), S281 wing needed paint, and I wanted my mirrors painted body color. The tear down started almost 2 weeks ago. Here's a buncha pics in order of what went down. Tomorrow i should be putting the bumper, chin, wing, and header panel w/ the new lights back in. I had to modify my header panel with a dremel so the projectors would fit, no biggie. List of what I bought and total cost (you won't believe how cheap)-- into all this for only around $430 or a little less. not bad lol
americanmuscle chrome fogs
nokya yellow 2500k fog bulbs
chrome turn signal bulbs
black housing, clear lens projector headlights
black housing, clear lens sidemarkers
fresh paint on the bumper
painted the S281 wing
painted the mirrors to match the body (painted parts still need wetsanding, compounding/polishing)
What i started with

2- I've been usin photobucket since like 2005, its all I use.

Holy hell! looks shhhwwwweet.

I remember seeing you paid $200 for all the paint. So it only cost you $230 for all this?
americanmuscle chrome fogs
nokya yellow 2500k fog bulbs
chrome turn signal bulbs
black housing, clear lens projector headlights
black housing, clear lens sidemarkers

I shelled out like $200 for my headlights off of American Muscle...

EDIT
Also, please post a picture of the headlights/foglights at night. Dying to see the yellow foglight/projector combo.

Thanks haha. All together with everything, like $430 in total. I did all my own work with the help of my family lol. I took the bumper, wing and mirrors off (we know the body guy, but it would be easier & cheaper anyways). i got everything brand new too. my sister had to buy me new chrome turn signal bulbs since she broke the pair that originally came with the sidemarkers. not bad, looks like i spent $1k haha.

Your sig no longer does the car justice. haha Good work man. It's best to do most of the work yourself anyways. Paying people for labor is $$$ and you get the satisfaction and guaranteed quality after you do the work yourself.

Your right, thanks for reminding me haha. New sig time. Feels awesome lookin at the car and being able to say, i worked for all this, and I did everything except the paint. I busted my knuckles, buncha fingers, but idgaf the end result is so worth it lol. Its true, idk what someone else does, they could half ass it and I'd never know.

Thanks dude. I can't believe what i've turned this car into. Never in a million years would i have invisioned making it look like this when I first got it. I didn't put the plate on cause the paint is literally a few days old, tomorrow I'm having the parts wetsanded and polished. I'll see how long i can get away with it lol. I hate the pony, its been off for months, i tried painting it red, dipped it black... Didn't do anything for me, hey its weight reduction haha.
