started color sanding the car, so far i have done the passenger side of the top, the right quarter pannel and the top half of the door, will keep posting pics as progress continues, hopefully haveit in primer next week and start fixing a few little dents here and there...

are you going to paint the mirrors?I highly suggest it, it totally changed the look of my car and I think it really improves the look of our stangs.

not sure on the mirrrors yet been thinkin bout it...
no me and my dad are doing all the body and prep work and a friend of mine owns a body shop called procustom autoworks and he is gonna paint it..
and we are color sanding it to get the clear coat, wax,etc off to give the primer something to stick too and also to find what all areas need some work...

I thought about it for a while and then my dad got it done for my birthday. Best thing he could have done, I constantly get compliments and seriously....how many do you see with painted mirrors? Not a ton.

are you planing on removing the windshied seal and the side window moldings before paint? i also say paint the mirrors too. another item you can paint is the hood cowl, but that's a personal preference (some may like it and others not so much) just something to think about while your sanding

I definitely suggest painting your mirrors, I did mine a couple years ago...love the look.

Also...if I were doing it, I would de-badge the whole car.

You know what else would be cool? Shaving the antenna...and installing a "fin" antenna on top of ur car like BMW's have...

Progress looks good man, ur rims look sick as hell too.
