I wasn't happy with the way the fender strips came out so I ordered ones from American Muscle. Came out so much better and thinner too.

Clay Barred and Waxed the Cobra today. Also took the time to prep and paint the Cobra Emblems Black Chrome.

Nvm went to the previous page and saw you did ya wheels lol. How hard was it to do the gas tank and straps? My tank looks like crap and the straps look pretty nasty. What spray paint did you use?

I ordered a custom windshield banner from Allstickers. It came as 3 separate pieces as I wanted a Black background, Red SVT, and Grey Cobra to match the License Plates frames.

First needed to lay down the gloss back...

Time a patience yields great results.

Now to place the SVT and Cobra lettering...

I am very happy with how it came out. Joe at Allstickers was great to work with and the price was great.

I used Rustoleum Black plastic paint and Rustoleum Red paint. I used Duplicolor prep spray to clean the tank cover and straps and Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter.

Well as some of you know, a few weeks ago I rear ended a pickup damaging the front lip of the hood. I can't afford a new hood as my wife lost her job and have to put further mods on hold.

My buddy had a few cans of Plasti-Dip sitting around from when he did his wheels. So I figured I would sand and fill the cracks, then Plasti-Dip the hood.

Prep...

After a few coats...

Finished...

It will do until I can save up and get a new hood.

Great save!

If I ever get a new hood, i'll probably plasti-dip it until I can get it painted.

Same here. Since it peels off easily, I will plastidip my new hood too. At least until I get it painted. I will be doing my daughters PT cruiser in matte black for her.

Decided to kill some time and paint some parts under the hood red.

I also took time to paint the headlight panel black as well as the radiator support.

Was given a gift card to American Muscle for Father's Day. so I Ordered FRPP Springs, Spring Isolators, and MM Pinion Snubber.

UPS just delivered box 1 of 3 today.
