Nice and shiny it looks great dude. How does it sound with the stock catted midpipe? Is it loud?

Honestly I havent heard it yet, that catback ( Dynomax ultraflo SS) is suppose to not be very loud at all but high flowing. Im sure an off road pipe will be going on once it clears emissions for the last time.

You are the only one that shows any interest in my builds lol!

Finally got that car back!!

After a...
power steering pump
rack and pinion
catback
struts
tie rods
and a few other odds and ends we got the car through inspection and ready to well...sit at home and get worked on! Hell of a lot cheaper!

Taillight Restore and Spoiler Plasti'd-4/9/13

Well we got the car home and I had pulled it into our garage and noticed how terrible the taillights were and couldn't take it so I decided to restore them, kinda set a deal with myself that if I could surprise my brother with them he would save his money and not go for the 96-98 taillight swap. Sooo off I go! Don't mind how dirty the car is...do mind that you can see the new tips as well!

I had already started working on the left one but they both looked like the right one when it first began!

This was just after a medium cut used with an old school mothers-ball

And finished product...

Plasti-Dipped Spoiler
Figured out a plan for the rear of his car since his spoiler has little clear left on it, my brother decided he wanted to go with my idea of having a black spoiler, taillight housing, bumper inserts and rear bumper valence...the majority of that is coming soon!

And for all the hate on the rusted out exhaust....

Boom.

I hear ya, fix all the little things and she'll look brand new!

Exactly! That's what Im hoping for on this car...if it doesn't work Ill just gut it and make it a beater bomb lol!

The tails look great dude, I need to do mine soon. Did you use compound on em?

Thanks man! I did a medium cut compound, a light 1500grit wet sanding, swirl remover, polish, wax :)

If he's doing black accents on the rear, I would make sure he gets the car tinted. That would give it a clean look.
And nice work on those pipes.

It is pretty fun! Gotta get him to wrench on it alittle more, kid loves having a car but still needs to put the time in.

Yeah man thanks for the idea that really would help tie everything together. Probably do 35 on the fronts and 20 on the rears maybe darker? I felt like you would appreciate that, I wish they were alittle wider though..

Time for some subframes too. It's great that you're willing to put in that kind of time and effort for him. Even if he's not totally committed to it now, he'll learn it from you eventually. Good luck with the build.
