You should keep the fr500s and give him your bullitts lol.
Haha I have thought about it! The funny thing about it was I was supposed to get them! I had everything figured out, I was gonna get 17x9 in a 245/45/17, 17x10.5 on a 315/35/17. But decided my dads 89 gt needed a drag set instead so he gave me his bullits and got his drag setup, then my lol bro got to pick his set up and could only get 17x9 cause it would of taken 3-6months for the 17x10.5 to get to use.

Im glad it turned out so nice! It seems like that area always wears out fast on our cars, yeah more plasti dip lmao! Driving a 5 speed is great, and its a really good thing to know in general.

Are all of our emblems just glued on? Thinking about deleting the Ford rear badge and both GT side badges and replacing those with fox 5.0 badges.

The fender GT badges and Ford trunk badge have holes behind em. I think theres two holes behind the fender badges and two behind the ford badge on the trunk

The fox 5.0 badges will most likely 99.9% sure they will cover the holes from the GT badges on the fenders. The wheels are gonna look sick on that car

Np lol, have fun taking the fender badges off lmao. They are a b*tch. I scratches up my fender doing the passenger side, I'd recommend not using a flathead screwdriver lol

UPCOMING PROJECT!

Got home from work today and decided I would start to prep some things for tomorrow...gonna be a good day!

After I got done matching the Calipers as two came unloaded and powder coated, two came loaded and unsprayed.

Car is getting all new calipers, pads, drilled and powdercoated black rotors, rear shocks, a small spacer in the rear, quad shocks removed, wheel wells sprayed, and I might put on the new FR500s....

jeeze you guys don't **** around lol. how come we don't see this progress on your car? ;p

We don't lmao! I decided that if Im going to take the wheels off I might as well do everything at once. As for progress on my car I had already done all of this stuff before I started a build thread! My baby is already sitting on the same exact braking setup, and similar Monroe shocks. I have a 1inch spacer in the rear and he will get the .25 or .5in spacer that got left over from my eibach kit. I did all the research for him to get FRs too, damn my little bro is getting spoiled lmao. I know this car needs to still get up to speed with itself so I do admit I neglect my car some:sad5:

Thats the problem with my car..Ive gotten to the point where its only big projects on my car that require a pretty large amount of money lol! Well it will get lowered soon...and as for being built I plan on a stroked 351 to 383....or a 400 windsor stroked to a 429, that would be carb'd though.

Well this project has officially kicked my ass today, I had to put my dog down this morning so working on the car was more of a ***** than anything.

Shocks are done, quads removed.

I've had a hell of a time with our dumb ass design for the parking brake, anyone have any pointers? I separated the rear passenger side caliper, removed it from the rotor and then took out the bolt that was holding the string in place and the E clip that holds the line. It came off easily but reinstalling is being....well not nice. I went to move onto removing the front calipers and they were on so tight they broke my socket size adapter.....FAIL!

UPDATE!!

Finally finished with the shocks and brakes on the rear today, came out pretty nice, I still need to spray the wheel well though its pretty beat from all the years of wear.

Well here is how it started out yesterday...

Things are a little rusty...

Shocks and Quads removed..

Had a bitch of a time getting the e-brake cable to work with me...new rotor

Almost finished!

It needs some spacers

Test fit!

Fronts to be continued....
