I got my wheels from AM, yes the price and service is great but you can definitely beat the quality. When i was putting one of my wheels on for the first time i didn't get the lug nut started and it fell off the lug and bounced off the rim and that was enough to put a permanent mark in the finish. I know Steve-Oh has had this same problem, except his wheel actually chipped from a socket hitting it.

Does your buddy have an 05+ stang?

well, I'd assume that when a lug nut fell on pretty much any shiny wheel, it would scratch it...

I actually had two out of four rims come damaged from shipping UPS. Not totally AM's fault but they could have put some bubble wrap around the rims or something. They were real great about the return though

AM is just about my favourite mustang company... I say, go ahead and buy their wheels. Also one of the best things about AM is that their center caps are the CORRECT size... unlike many other companies out there.

You're blaming American Muscle for you dropping a lug nut on your wheel? lmao

bottlefed are you stupid? I never blamed them for anything I did, i just said the wheels they sell don't have a very durable finish. They asked about the quality so i shared my experience, never had any problems like that with my couple sets of OEM wheels.

I've never had OEM wheels, so I wouldn't know about them.

I would imagine any aftermarket rim would be marked by dropping a lug nut on it.

AM is great. i purchased my rims and tires from them. they came in about three days, and the shipping was free. they also mounted, and balanced them for free, also filled the tires up with nitrogen. as far as quality, they look great and came in perfect condition.

when i was browsing for the cheapest place to buy wheels , AM is that place. and you cant beat free fast shipping. other places MIGHT have had better prices, like 20-30 bucks difference for the rims, but they didnt ship free.

im not exactly sure where but i think it was cruzinconcepts.com, i actually ordered wheels from them first, and i never got a confirmation so i called them a few days later and they said they didnt have the black chrome saleens for a couple of months. so where ever you order them from make sure they are actually in stock first.

also purchased a set of acorn lugnuts, and GORILLA wheel locks from american muscle.

around here, if i didnt have those wheel locks the rims would be gone already and my car would be found in the morning sitting on its rotors.

I've bought my 03 Cobra's from them. I then bought my 17" Saleens from them. Each time extremely happy with AM. I'll do it again if I change my mind again. I am thinking about buying another set & painting to all black. That way I can switch them out.
