Purge kit question

I bought a purge kit and I came with a short brass tube which isn't nearly long enough to get out of the engine bay. I've noticed other purge kits have a clear plastic hose, is there anything special I should be looking for or can I just pick something up at the hardware store?

you can use clear plastic hose or you can use a rubber hose. I used a rubber one and had ran my dual purge to both of my air snorts in my hood. Then when i hit my purge it came out both of the nostrils on the hood.

no, I had this setup a long time ago but i can promise you it looks really good and is worth doing

My plan is to run the hose up front so the running horse looks like it's snorting. Don't know if it will work but I'll try.

better find a really good way to secure the hose to the horse lol.. there is a lot of pressure backing the hose to your purge so it's liable to set your pony running through the air
