Question about 96-98

If i was to have a 96-98
could i rip the gay engine outof it and put a 302 in it?
Or will the wires be all diffrent?

Can u swap the 4.6 for the 5.0 without eny modifcations?

that's your problem, too much figurin'...if you want a 4.6 jump on it...P/I swap and some form of FI and you'll be happy...

yah... it would be tricky...

You would need to use an OBDII harness on the 302...

the last years of the 302 in the mustangs were OBDI

So it would be tricky, its doable... but you would be way better off doing a PI swap

We are selling my stang, and buying another one. For this new engine.
We will probly get a crappy engine stang for like 3k, pull the engine
and then put this baby in it

So.... thats why
i was wondering if it could work or not.
But i dont wanna get into all that mess

buy a GT or a Fox for around 3000 with high mile engine
Ill have 2k sitting right there
to go to my engine that im building
And then i can work on the stang the way i want

B/c im changing the wheels and everything else either way

the cobras are like 7-8 tho

well heres my thoughts ...you want to get another car so now your another 3k in the hole and you just blew 2k on your heads so theres what your asking for your car... :dunno: ....then you have to find someone to buy yours ...you said you would swap wheels and everything which leads me to believe you will buy the other car first...and if thats the case and you look into a fox body then you have to do a 5 lug conversion to make your wheels fit...

Im making 2k off selling my car, the wheels are Illrevelant. It's just a side note contributing my decision to sell my car. *spelling 0.o*
Note to self - my engine is my car -
So the car itself isnt important.

So we are selling My car, and getting a cheaper stang with a crappy engine.
We will take the engine out, and put my new one in.
And then use the 2 extra k we got left *or less*
And spend it on the extra's for the car *long tube headers, wire set, ignition*

My car is a realy decent ride, so it'll bring in some cash i hope.
