Question/Stock Side Skirts...

I need to replace mine when I have it repainted! I found some through the Classifieds. They are not the same ones though. Mine I have now does not have that front 'L' piece. Sorry, best I can come up with! The skirts are really 2 pieces. The 1st is right past your front wheels and are about 6-8" long. It then becomes the longer piece that goes to your rear wheels! Can I buy those but use my front pieces onto them? Sorry I cannot word it better than what I did! Thanks a lot!!

I'm assuming you have a '94?
Those were the only cars that had different side skirts than the rest of the SN95s.

Yeah the 94/95 didnt have the L shape right behind the front wheels.when the 96-98 did.

Nope, mine is a 95. Last year of the 5.0!! That's why I bought her!!

I went ahead and bought those skirts! Off a 98 GT. I figure if you can't switch over the front part, I'll sell them.

I was looking @ some on Ebay. Here's what the seller typed to me:
look at your side skirts right behind the front wheels, that small 6 inch piece should be flat, and not have a built in mud flap L looking piece. I should not have should have but sometime in 95 ford changed to L, my skirts are for 94 - 95 1/2 ish. its really personal preference however.

I did not win them. They did not have this L piece.

I just went up to my mechanic/exhaust/body guy. He says you should be able to switch the front parts out.

Saw a SN95 the other day that someone had actually removed the skirts
completely! It really didn't look half bad. Anyone done this??

ya ry has it done. but you have to weld in the lil holes left under the skirt otherwise it looks like crap.

I've seen our cars that has removed them. They look OK, just not what I'd do!

I got those I bought today. You can swap out that 'L' shaped 1st part.
