Quick guage cluster question

Does anyone know if I could take the faces/face panel out of 01-04 and put them on my guages? Iknow the whole panel won't work because of the differences in the speedos,but what if I could disassemble one and just get the faces out of it?Anyone done this or know if it will work?? :blah2:

I dont see why it would not :dunno: but I have never seen it done so I dont know ???
