quick n20 question

Probley a stupid question to ask because it probley dosen't matter just as long as i get it there. But what is the best way to run the lines from my truck to the engine bay? Under car? Under carpet? door sills?

you mean trunk?? lol or you going to spray the good ole truck? lolhaha

But most the drag strips i go to want them under the car, that is where mine is, but have seen most people or just want it for the looks or do not go down teh 1/4 mile and just use it for the street run it under the car through the firewall.. But keep it away from the center of your car.. Keep it to the sides and if you put it under the car becareful when you jack the car up.

nah i ment i want to run a line from my truck bed to my car engine ;D. Lol whoops i ment trunk. How's you fasten it under the car?

I do not remember what the exact term for them are, but it has a screw hole and then branches like a u and you put the line in the u part and tighten up the screw to the underside of your car and BAM! done. i will try to get a pics of one.. Sorry i am not hardware savy

Run it under the carpet....away from exhaust heat, moving parts, road hazards, etc. Just don't pinch it or get it close to anything electrical...like a trunk mounted battery...don't ask how I know.

I stored my car with a friend. Well, he just left the cover off the battery box (to disconnect it when we stored it) in the back and pulled the bottle out of the car so the line was just hanging back there. Well, the ground was still connected and just the hot was unhooked. The line ended up touching the positive terminal of the battery...this grounded out the hot side of the battery through the line. We didn't know it until 6 months later when I came back from my deployment. He said "the battery died but she's still good man!" Well, I pop the trunk, wonder why my carpet is burnt in a few spots and what the HELL all the white blobs stuck to the carpet is...the teflon inside of the line melted out of the braided steel and into my carpet. SOMEHOW the car managed NOT to burn to the ground..
