im starting to hear a whine come from the passanger side rear end of my car, sounding like its a fuel pump. does a fuel pump cause a lack of ALOT of power? does a fuel pump cause a rough start up? any input would be great thank you guys

when was the last time the fuel filter was changed and cleaned the maf?
when do you hear the whining. engine off/key on, engine on sitting still, while driving, etc?

you didn't by change remove the back seat recently did ya? I have mine out right now and was driving the other day when I noticed it was much louder inside and I could hear the fuel pump louder as well with out the seat damping the sound.

^does the same thing for your exhaust dumps. you do know it naturally whines right?
