Raced an STI last night

Was puttin some fuel in my 5.0 and a Subi revved his engine as he went past. He was heading toward a local (basically deserted) double line highway alot of people race on.

Anyways, all I have to say is their fucken fast. But then again I got my car for 4,500 and his costed him probly around 35,000.

my best friend has a 05 that we started turboback/tune, then fuel system, front mount, 30R, clutch, and now built motor, ported heads, cams, 35R. it's stupid quick.

like any car, it costs money to go fast. we'll see what happens with my new motor, when I was full bolt ons + 150 shot, we were dead even through 4 gears.

I'd love to have the Saab version of the WRX they were making/giving away a few years back. w/ GM red tag deals they were under $20k. Sort of like a station wagon w/ downs syndrome from the front but pretty decent over all. too bad you can't fit 2 full grown adults in the front seats at the same time. i took it for a test drive and remember almost touching the passengers shoulder while driving.
