Has anybody put a radar detector in place of the clock that goes on top of the dash. I was thinking about doing this but would like to see some ideas or even a good place to start. Thanks

i've seen it done a couple times. it doesn't do you much good, but there was an article in 5.0 mustang and super fords
where a guy with a red 97 cobra did that. it looked factory and very nice..

i've thought a lot about this and plan to do it someday... it'd be kinda expensive, and my passport works well

Or maybe not even a radar detector, has anybody seen anything else done instead of a clock, I want something unique the boring green clock is stupid if my radio has a clock on it.

i was thinking aways back to dismantle the clock and integrate the radar into it. its in a central location and if you're in illegal states for a radar detector it would look as if nothings there.

I would buy a gauge pod but I have a triple one in the a-pillar and a dual one in the bezel for the stock gauges. Not only do I not need any more gauges, I don't think they make any more, ha.
