well, i went to the strip last night, managed a 15.11 and 92.5 mph which is a new personal best since my suspension work,
i was a little disappointed but i was running my nitto's at like 30 psi and had my full interior, spare tire and jack still in the car.
next time im gunna pull that all out and drop my psi becuae i need some 14 second slips, i was just really hoping to do it in full daily driver trim.

but all in all it was a good day, the track was dead so i got in 13 runs, which is a lot of fun for 20 bucks!
also not that it is important but my reaction times were all in the .15 range with my best being .09

its not allk about weight, its where the weight is..... 50 lbs in the rear is better then 50 over the front wheels ...

Dang, I wonder why the car is running so slow? Your mph should be at least in the 97-98 mph range. It seems like your car is down some horsepower from what it should be. My '95 GT with similar exhaust, gears, intake, a shifter, and Nittos ran 13.99 @ 97 mph. My car is otherwise pretty much stock with no weight reduction.

Although the ET could vary based on 60' times, your MPH should be pretty close to mine. How is the car running? Is it pulling throughout the RPM band? What RPM are you shifting at?

Paul.

alright so here are my times
15.11 with a 2.19 60ft at 92.35 mph
15.14 with a 2.21 60ft at 92.18 mph
15.155 with a 2.21 60ft at 92.59 mph
15.157 with a 2.24 60ft at 92.65

next step for me is gears 3.73 no question. what do you think i could muster then?

Crap, I'm an idiot. I didn't realize you had stock gears.

Regardless, I would expect higher trap speeds than what you're seeing. Your 60' times aren't great, but they're not horrible either for a stock-geared cars on street tires. I've seen much worse.

If you've not done it already, I'd replace your fuel filter, and do a general tune-up on the car. I really think the car is down on power a bit.

i have done all my mods within a year, so all the tune up stuff should still be good, and yes i did change my fuel filter.
im also not power shifting the car, the track is an hour away from my place so i just dont want to risk any problems.
im going agian friday so i will bump the timing and maybe check my airfilter, but it should be fine considering Its only been in while driving for a couple of months.

Okay, maybe your times aren't that far off then. I ran my 13.99 pass by powershifting the crap outta my car and doing my best to break third gear.
