Here is a pic of mine. Please excuse how dirty it was at the time of the photo.. I would never do a monster tach but I think the pillar gauges and center dash gauges can look good. I have an Innovate MTX wideband I am waiting to install, will probably go with the column cover pod from Autometer.

Unless you use a shift light getting its signal from ignition box ID never go by just the stock tach. At 6200 mine was at 7000+

Looks like they have a word filter on that url here for some reason. I was able to check out the page though. Really neat how you did that!

I've been going over this mod for a very long time. Real gauges should be mandatory on modded cars, especially any that are boosted.
I bought the autometer dual gauge pod for the center dash area, and I got an autometer cluster surround with the two gauge pods also. I dont mind the cluster cover pods much, as the info I am looking for is gonna be on the REAL gauges, not the OEM. Still trying to figure out how to mount the center dash pod without it looking horrible.
I did not realize just how bad the factory tach could be off. I figured the factory tach and speedo would be fairly accurate.

If the tach is off, can't you put the cluster in diagnostic mode, read the raw data that's displayed in the odometer window and reposition the needles?

The www.florida50.com panels are a little more but you have alot more options. They cut them anyway you want for $145.00 for the total empty panel
..............(they are also the ones that carry the Pass. air bag delete panel for $65.00)
