So back in april my passenger rear brakes started scraping, so I went to do the job on that side, because the other side was completely fine. As I was compressing the piston it broke, so I went and got a new caliper, put the caliper on finished the job and went about my way. 2 months later...same brakes are scraping again, so I look at it, and the inside pad is fine but the outside one is done, like metal on metal, after only 2 months? Wtf could this be, do I have a hanging caliper, or is my ebrake causing it or what. Im stuck.

Please help thanks.

did you lube the guide pins when you installed the caliper?
Did you ever notice a hot brake smell or thought a pad was dragging?

The calipers were fully assembled. I just put them On. I think the brake may be stuck on but I don't know how to fix it. It seems like the line is tense even when the brake is down

Have you tried to open the bleeder screw to see if the piston retracts or you get fluid out without someone stepping on the pedal.
The line could be pinched somewhere too. Ck on top of the axel and under the hood.

Replace your brake lines on the rear. If I'm not mistaken, your car has 3 in the rear. DO THEM ALL!! The issue is probably a collapsed brake line letting fluid go out but not back.
