Read end was done yesterday, trac lok rebuild, CF clutch packs, 4.10's and royal purple fluid

Guy who did the install was highly recommended and now I understand why, he took everything apart and reshimmed it over .01 difference. He said it would of been fine but he preferred to do it perfectly to be sure there was no noise

To say the least the rear end was completely silent on the ride home

I still need to install my speedcal and put some miles on it then it will be time to play

Hopefully this week I will install the speedcal and also put the new wheels on the car

If the backlash is not between .008-.012 the rear will whine so there is no other option then making it perfect...

Whats the install charge normally? Around here its like $300-350 if you have all your own parts...

I might just have to start doing gears on the side...

He insisted on .08, like I said was only off by .01 but he reshimmed the whole thing

$300 with the trac loc rebuild and all
