Just rebuilt my rear end.
Moiser 31 spline axles
Posi center thingie.
Girdle/cover to keep the bearings seated tight
longer studs
and welded tubes.
:)
31 spline POSI, Girdle to keep those bearings in place, longer studs and welded tubes :)

What diff are you using? I'm running pretty much the same rear end, I have an Eaton Pro and I'm not terribly happy with it, a little too tight for me.

It doesn't allow enough "differential" action around corner's if you follow me? It trys to stay locked at low speeds, this coupled with my 2.66 first gear makes me look like a tool that doesn't know how to use a clutch :hammer: . Eaton has two I think, a Pro and a regular. The regular one should be a little nicer.

thanks Jrgunn,
I called and asked the guy - the dude in the shop called it an Eaton, but it's actually a Detroit True Track, clutchless limited slip.
MM runs the same thing in their track cars.
What did you end up doing with yours?

Thanks David :hammer:

Thanks Matt,
once in it shouldn't have to be touched again. :)

Mine is still in there. I've been looking at a Truetrac, since I have something similar in the rear of my Jeep and like it. Also I've been looking at the Torsen, but I'm not sure that it will handle the power I'm putting down. I beleive they are limited to 500 ft/lbs.

Congrats man! I just had 31 spline Moser axles w/ 3.5" studs, and 31 spline Ford truck diff as well as new bearings and seals put in this weekend.
