When I got my car a month ago only got one key, not even a original just a duplicate my question is how can I check to see if my car might have come with a remote control I have power locks any help, and it's a 96 GT TIA

Look in the trunk on the drivers side... carefully pull out the side panel & look behind it ...close to the fuel cutoff relay there should be a wiring harness & a ~ 6-8"bracket to hold the remote electronics...there may only be the wiring harness with nothing plugged into it ...if you have the wiring harness you can easily add the remote electronics, if not just buy an alarm system with that feature & have it installed.
