I was just wondering if there is any way possible to wiggle the transmission out from under the Cobra, without having to take off the long tube headers.

depends on which LT headers. on the BBK I have, no there is not. you can remove the driver side, or you can drop the whole K member/engine/transmission assembly down a few inches then remove.

I think I have MAC headers, Yeah I was afraid of actually having to remove the drivers side header... it's times like these that I really wish I had a lift in the garage.

I think I normally do the passenger on my BBK's. Helps too with the starter and all that.

It's a black 1996 cobra with long tubes, and an off-road H-pipe for the exhaust. It has tockico illuminas, and springs with bbk caster camber plates. It also has 4.10's with absolutely no 5th gear. I'm wondering if T-45's just have problems.
