Replacing a throw out bearing got expensive!

Happened to me too just not to Paul's extent. Pulled motor to put in a fresh bottom end and the car ended on jackstands for almost 2 years. New motor, H/C/I, blower and tubular suspension

lil update, got my tubular k in today, and got her set up to swap them out tomorrow. Wish me luck! OH and a picture of the old pilot bearing. No wonder it was making funny noises.

Mine came out pretty easily only took two smacks with a slide hammer.

I smacked mine so many times with the slide hammer that the inner bussing popped out by itself. Then I had to take a mallet and chisel to the outer ring to break it apart. Luckily the engine was on a stand at the time

Update: Got the K member installed and everything. I had 0 fitment issues! Thank God! All that was required is cutting off the rounded areas on the control arms. The only complaint i have was the hardware they supplied for the steering rack. The bolt sheered off while i was taking it out to install my rack. So, i had to drill it out and re-tap it. Other than that I recommend it. Oh and K-member bolts are hookers! That is all.
