ReplicaR's Mustang build *finally on track again*

Ordered some more parts. At recommendation from MM, I'm stepping up sway bar sizes front and back. Going to Eibach front bar, and upgrading my adjustable MM bar to 1"x0.120" size. On top of that, a new much larger power steering cooler is in the mail, as well as a brand new HANS device from Summit. This weekend will be a busy one

lol, [MENTION=17007]RichV[/MENTION] I was never the cone killer. I mainly use autox to find balance, most of the time I spend in TT. The HANS is mainly for my safety. Great way to save your neck with harnesses.

Right on. What class do you run in TT? Mustangs are not very competitive it seems. TT rules are built around BMW IMO, NASA TT anyway.

Yeah, pictures really don't do the justice to how nice it looks. The welds are amazing. I'll take some closeups soon.

Yeah, the new sway bars really helped with the weight management and body roll. I've had it out at the local autox, not anything sanctioned, just people running for fun, and took overall fastest lap of the weekend. The car responds to direction change really well, has a lot more front end grip, but I still feel like I have mid corner understeer, which if goes unmanaged, will turn into corner exit understeer, slow exit speed and terrible lap time. Still working with MM to figure that out. I think next time I'll actually do some temps on tires, and see if I can dial in alignment a little better.

Nice run! I wish we had courses like that in ohio. Most of ours are dominated by miatas due to the crammed courses on a short paved track. Car is looking great by the way

Speaking of Miatas, that was my closest competition. I nailed the fastest lap of the weekend by the end of the day. There was one pesky Miata within like half the second of me.

Im a big F1 fan too. Hate to say it, but at least back in the day people just died. I would never want to be in his or Schumacher's position.

Well, it's not like Schumacher suffered his injuries at the wheel. Bianchi, on the other hand, was a true talent, and only at the beginning of his career. That's just not fair.

Like them a lot. Very well stitched, nicely padded. And the fingers are stitched to be curved, so even when the hand is relaxed, they are still semi bent.
