I've decided to get a set of 3.73 gears for my first modification to my '94 GT. Which brand would give me the most bang for my buck? They cost the same, but there have to be some differences between the two. Help please.

Either whichever you can get the best deal on. There both great gears. I have also heard and read on here that Motive is a Ford Gear.

i'm 99% sure your right about motive making fords gears.

the name is slipping my mind but 10 years ago or so i bought some gears for a 9'' rear and they at that time were making ford gears.

ford does not make most of the things they sell

I thought it was the Motive gears which whine while the FRPP and Richmond are fine?

I have heard nothing but good things from Ford Racing rearend gears. I have had their 4.10s in my car for 4+ years with no whine
or problems, i just change the diff fluid every year for good measure. I have also heard that Ford Racing gears (new) require
the least amount of setting up (backlash.. etc..)

I had motive in my last stang and they were great, frpp and they are great...go with whichever you can get a deal on although i have heard rumors that richmond tend to whine more but most say its due to improper installs. but who knows.
