yea its like that here too, lol. someone always tries to squeeze their fat ass in where they see some empty space, lol!
and this isnt something i do in my 94 buick, but while in my mustang if someone squeezes in a gap i just back off of them too, or even change lanes. its not always possible to have no vehicle directly in front of you, but if you are aware of the fact that this alone is the cause of all the rock chips in your nice paint. i say do what i do. keep enough distance.
this is the one and only reason for all the ugly chips all over front bumpers.
i've had 5 new paint jobs on a variety of vehicles and all went years with not a single chip in the bumper. YEARS!!
my best friend has a body dropped and bagged tb, and when he use to show it he hated the front bumper cause of all the chips. i drilled him about this and he admits that its an awesome difference in his newly painted tb. no chips
i'll snap an up close pic today of mine after i've driven to 2 different states, all highway, cleveland where my family lives. most would already have several chips at this point. i have ZERO
