Rough under acceleration around 1500rpm

Hey guys, havent posted in awhile..

Took my stang to the shop today, i had a huge leak of radiator fluid from a crack in the intake manifold, i had it replaced which solved the leak, no overheating problems

now the only problem is that when i punch the accelerator at around 1500rpm in each gear the car starts to jerk pretty badly until i get into 2000rpm and then it runs fine even under hard acceleration.

This problem only occurs under hard acceleration and WOT and around 1500. I suspect it may be an issue with a dirty MAF sensor or EGR valve, however im not entirely sure.

Any suggestions are welcome, hopefully it doesnt have anything to do with the heads

I plan to clean out the MAF and EGR later today and im planning on bringing the car back to the shop on wednesday

check your coil packs while you're in there... check them for cracks.

pull your plugs and inspect them.

unplug the battery and plug it back in.


what intake manifold did you have put on?
