RTV'd Intake manifolds

So the PO of my car decided it would be a grand idea to RTV the trickflow upper/lower manifolds together. Despite all my best efforts i cant get it to budge.

any idea's on how to fix this retarded idea someone had?

It shouldn't be that hard to separate. Are you sure you don't have anything else holding it on?

Put it in a heated parts washer get it up to temp with the heated water/air and go from there.

sorry, i guess i should clarify. Its on the car. i tried putting a crowbar in the TB inlet and tried with all my might, all i did was rock the motor on the mounts. I have no clue what type of RTV it is, all i know its black.

black usually doesn't hold like that. this might be bad advice but I know my redneck father would tell you to get a blow torch and heat it up.

that is if you dont have a heat gun of course ;p

or drive for a bit let it warm up on its own, throw on some gloves and try to pull the bolts and peel it fast
