This sounds new to me? :*( I have used an extra gasket with various diameter holes to try and fine tune my idle. The car was tuned but my tuner never set up anything to fix the hanging problem. Do you just unplug the IAC, rasie the idle manually and reconnect? I have an SCT SF tuner so the idle speed is perfect in gear and nuetral. I'm curious about how this works??

No, he's talking about unhooking it altogether, and then bumping the idle screw to compensate for it. Which would have it idling at around 1200 rpm.
