S197 wheels on an SN95.....need spacer input!

I'm going to move my bullitts from my S197 to my SN95. What size wheel spacer(s) should I get for the SN95 to accept the S197 wheels to where they will look good on the phat fendered SN95?

13mm is used to put S197 wheels on our cars.

Thanks dutch for the quick response! Any place you know of that has these reasonably priced? Lastly, should I stay away from hub-centric spacers?

Thanks, I've been surfing the net and anybody have any feedback on 1" spacers? I'd like to bring the back wheels out closer to the edge of the fenderwell as much as possible without compromising safety by using to big of a spacer.

1" would probably be fine for the rear man

So 1" all the way around or 1" on back and 1/2" on front? Can you mix them? LOL!

yep, 3/4 - 1/2 on the front.

and 1" on the back is good.

I too think that would look sweet and balance the look out. The OEM front wheels already stick out further than the back for whatever reason.

Yeah Ive got the same bullitts on mine with a 1in spacer in back. If you dont use the spacer you will rub. I still rub in the front but I've been told u just need a 3/8in spacer. It only rubs on full lock though.

Hey 95, do you have any pics of how the back wheels look now with your 1" spacer? I'm gonna do an official mock-up measure tomorrow. I may even go 1.25 in the back, just to get the +40mm offset wheel from being so tucked in.

Thanks 95 and others!

I just did a mock-up with the S197 wheels and it looks like 1.5" in the rear and 13mm in front is gonna be the shiznits!

The fronts barely rub on the torsion bar when turning full lock so I better bring the fronts closer to a 40mm offset with the 13mm spacer just to be safe and to accomadate side wall flexing while the car is in motion.

I'll post pics as soon as the project is complete.

Get ONLY the hub-centric spacers from MM or H&R. They center the spacer onto the hub as well as the wheel onto the spacer. You will run into vibration problems with others as the lugs alone will not center the wheel on the hubs properly.

Thanks!

I went with the 1" spacers on the rear and 6.25mm on the front. The 1.25" on the rear would have pushed the wheels too far out....IMO.

1 millimeter = 0.0393700787 inches

6.25 x .02927 = 0.246 inches.
So a quarter inch.
