looks like a decent fixer job... as long as the swipe didnt get into the 1/4 panels it wont be too bad to fix it. But you will be looking at a paint job which will probably be the biggest expense. I'd work around the exterior until you get the interior and mechanical shit done. then its just a matter of stripping it down and taking it for body and paint.

Im not really looking for the thing to be really fast just yet since I plan to use it for a daily driver back and forth to work. If I did all the things I mentioned how many hp do you think it would add? And what is one of these cars suposed to run in the quarter mile bone stock? Im basically just wanting to add as much hp as cheap/quick as possible with out having to tear into the motor since Id have to pay someone to do that kinda stuff.

With the intake, pullies and full exhaust with the stock e7 stuff... maybe 20whp, maybe. Bone stock you are looking at high 14s, low 15s. Honestly your first mod should be gears and a speedcal.

The damage is just on the front corner. Hood, fender, and bumper need replaced, and a small dent in the door fixed. I actually do paint and body work, so painting it will actually be the cheapest part. Ive already got all the materials needed, including the paint and clear.

Do you recommend under drive pullies? Someone told me that alot of people have cooling issues with them on these cars. And, after tearing into the car last night I looked at the factory headers, WOW, those things are ridiculous! They really need to go, but they dont look like fun to swap out!

Headers aren't that hard to swap out, except if you run into rust-welded screws/bolts. You really don't need the headers until you do heads IMO.

I do not have cooling issues with my 94 and UDPs. Most are concerned more with charging, but unless you spend a lot of time at idle you shouldn't have issues.

Shorty unequal headers are not that bad..
The main issue with UDP's is the Alt.not turning fast enough to keep cool and not being able to produce the needed voltage to keep the battery charged.

Stripped the interior and pulled the carpet. Man that stuff was nasty! Went to the truck stop car wash. I socked it with some TuffStuff cleaner, sprayed with high pressure soap, scrubbed with a tire brush, and then rinsed FOREVER! It actually doesn't look bad. Plus, it was free! There was close to $10 in change through out the car after I got it apart haha!

Found this in the glove box too. Thought it was kinda cool after all these years someone had still saved it. I was surprised how much this thing cost in '94!

Just a few more pictures of the progress the last few days. Nothing much yet. Still searching hoping to find cheap factory body panels before I jump off and buy new ones.
What I found after removing the front bumper...
IMG_4079.jpg

Split on drivers seat. If it wasn't for this I could easily re-dye the seat and make it look great

Passenger seat

Carpet drying after power washing it
IMG_4095.jpg

Cleaning the filth out of the interior while its apart
IMG_4097.jpg

Factory wheels are kinda beat up and have paint flaking off
IMG_4122.jpg

So Im sanding them down and repainting them
IMG_4124.jpg

Primed with etching primer
IMG_4125.jpg

And painted with some silver wheel paint. Color is actually close to factory. Going to paint caps aswell

love your attention to detail!
It's kind of a curse really, lol. I am way too much of a perfectionist, so I'm sure the whole project will snow ball and I end up painting it and spending 100 hours meticulously wetsanding and buffing it and end up scared to drive it for chance of getting a rock chip or scratch. Thats what happened with my '05 gt that I repainted lol.

This is what my "simple" over-all paint job turned into on my 05 haha. This is after seriously, around 100 hours of wetsanding and buffing. Im kinda debating on painting this 94 sonic blue. I loved that color! But color changes are always a pain.......

that front end is not too bad, if the core support isn't too bad, You can pick u p a new bumper reinforcement aftermarket for 40 bucks, styrofoam absorber for another 40, and header panel for ...you guessed it... 40 bucks. those steel accordion folding things are also pretty cheap. For the body parts check craigslist, there's always somebody selling a black fender for under 50 bucks. Good luck with the resurrection!
