Secondary Air Injection (SAI) delete

So I'm in the process of installing FRPP shorty headers and I cannot get the drivers side SAI tube loose. I'm probably going to cut it off and delete the whole set up. Has anyone done this? What was the process? Any drawbacks?

Secondary Air Injection. Essentially the smog pump set up. And I do have an update, I was able to remove the manifold with the tube attached so hopefully I'll be able to break it loose and not have to delete the system. But, it is seized on there pretty good.

Oh the crossover pipe. I removed my pump and that tube. Then used a set of bolts with the same threads to close the holes.
