well its gettin close to winter time, and my frustrations are running high with both my cars. in july i blew the rear in my black car, so i bought the red 4 cyl for while i fixed it... one month and $700 later i had the rear built and installed with new control arms (got em becasue the ride height destroys the tires over bumps and the control arms stiffened it all up and they dont rub anymore).. the trans has made noises since i got the car last year but now that the rear is in and i drove it... it makes more noise and i dont drive it because its annoying as hell. its got some bearings on the inside that are bad, as well as the tob and im pretty sure theres prolly a chiped gear. i got a used trans only has 14k on it, its ready to go in. so i work at an autobody shop, and i can putthe trans in when i have time, soo on friday i drove the black car to work, planning on putting the trans in, but at the end of the day i was tired and didnt feel like it, so on my way home i rounded a corner, (cant hear any noises over the trans ) and the fuckin wheel came off on the back left side...... WTF! i think someone loosened my lugs(prolly my ex), that shit skidded for 20 ft to a stop and i jumped out and chased my fuggin tire down the street..... it was late so there was nobody drivin on the road where i was thankfully....back bumper is bent out, and the lug bolts are stripped on three of the threads, plus the rotor is scraped up pretty bad.... onto the red car.. its a 4cyl that gets 20 mpg's, tops out at 85mph, has no getup and go whatsoever, and its an automatic with a cloth interior....
rant over. im lookin to get something with either 4wd, or awd, thats on the small sidegets good mpgs and has "the look"... i really want this jag : http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/1936090695.html , my bro has had his 02 xtype since2005 and he got it with 50k and now it has 120k, and hes never had a single problem with it. he averages 26 mpgs , it has awd, a sport mode and leather. its the most practical for me right now and ill get back into the stangs after i graduate college, but right now i need something thats not gonna break and wont get stuck 10,000,000 times in the snow... ima either get an xtype, a wrx, or a ranger...... how much should i ask for my cars? the black car as 94k, and the red car has 64k

Baby Jags are awesome and pretty reasonable, really. If I didn't like going fast in a straight line I'd probably be in one.

Wow@ your tire popping off.

My dad had 2003 s type (i think) jaguar and his friend has one. Both cars had many transmission problems... MANY. I heard it was a common problem with that year. Not sure about the others.

But your new edge is sexy man  Fix it :sad5:

Fix the gt, sell for 7k, sell the fox to a retarded fox fanatic for around 4k and you'll get a 03-05 jag for around that price and have it paid off completely...

Though, I'd wait, no one is buying cars right now, wait till December and any time after that

The naturally aspirated V6 3.0 ltr X type is the best in the X type line up. The manual will hit 60 in 6.5 and carry on to a respectable 146mph. The only thing I can say is I`ve test drove a diesel X type and i hated it. The interior has been scavenged from last decades Ford Mondeo parts bin and the fit and finish isn`t `Jag`.
Sorry if this bursts your bubble dude.

true that, the car probably wont be done for another month or two anyways.

I've heard of X types having many problems including with the transmission, which they got from the Ford Contour along with other parts I would guess. X type is the cheapy jag and it was built like it. PM Addermk2 and ask how he likes his Mom's X type lol.
