im not sure if you have to take that whole peice out to replace them... but i did.

also, what happens when you key assembly to the trunk messes up?

I just shaved the "Mustang Gt" off my back bumper like 95 sc did.... it looks pretty cool

you do realize that very base modle mustangs... i.e. the ones that came with hand crank windows, and hubcaps came with the exact same bumper as the rest, and didnt say anything on it?

its cheaper to just buy one in the long run, thats what im planning on doing to mine.... only those who know the car, will actualy know its a v6... for now.

You can pop those bulbs out without removing that piece and there is no bumper that comes with nothing on it.

Looks sharp so far, the lil outline you can see would scare me but if it's just the color showing through no problem. I talked to a painter that said it would crack too but people seem to do it with some success.

Im actually going to hand sand it use filler putty to fill in any tiny imperfections and sand it And if its good enuff for paint ill spray it if not i might hit it with more primer and sand it one last time mabye even wet sand it.Im using some high quality rattel can paint lol,belive it or not i cant afford it right now i need two cans and its $8 a can.I Might try to finish it this weekend Minus paint and try to spray it the following weekend.I wanted to paint it this weekend but money is tight :angry7: either way ill try to post up pics when its done.

And as for cracking its less likely to crack since it has fiberglass in the mix and the discoloration is because the filler i used is Dark.And it only has a few light coasts of sandable primer on it.When its done you wont see anything.Im not the best but i make it look pretty good :thumbsup:

Looks good. Have you ran your car at the track yet with the current configuration? There was a red lightning swapped gt at the track last night and he ran a 12.3x. I can't remember his exact numbers but it seemed decent for street tires or drag radials. Wasn't slicks.

and it shouldn't crack. not like the deck lid takes a lot of abuse and fiberglass is pretty strong anyway. Pretty sure youll be ok.

Seriously? My 1994 V6 with cloth seats, manual transmission, manual locks, and manual windows Had "MUSTANG" in the rear bumper and I have NEVER seen a mustang of our year with Hub Caps. They always have tri bar wheels.

I've honestly seen an SN95 mustang with said hubcaps on before BUT have never seen a blank rear bumper. Aside from all that I will said GOD DAMNIT DAL LOOK WHAT YOU'VE STARTED! 330, looks good brotherman hopefully we'll see it painted soon. Can't say i'll ever do that though. The only sneaky mod I wanna do (in relation) is to hide the gas filler door thinger ma bobber behind the tailights. Seen this done on a fox at Carlisle before... pretty slick!
