I personally have followed mustangs since I was 6 years old. Always been my favorite car. Since the fox body (at least) SOMETHING has been written on the rear bumper until the 2005+ models (obviously). I find it hard to believe that a blank stock rear bumper is sooo common and yet only one link (that doesn't work anymore mind you) is provided. Shouldn't it be easy to find something like that if it came on lots of models during a 5 year period? Basically, if you've seen a blank bumper, which no doubt that you have, it had body work done to it. The "Mustang" or "Mustang GT" or even "Cobra" was filled in and repainted. Other than that, I don't know, and neither do all these other CAR GUYS (for that's what we all are, yourself included) what you're talking about. One link isn't enough to prove that Ford massed produced blank rear bumpers. I hate thread arguments and this one has gotten way outta hand already. Just putting in my .02

kinda hard to see but its blank... also, my mom bought a pac green 96 brand new, and its bumper was blank.

i dont fail, ill admit i was wrong on the lights. (after checking.) but fail? no. you all need to do a little resarch before you start calling people out... its pretty rediculous, this is a mustang forum, and your getting pissy at your bretherin. no wonder f body guys call us d-bags.

There is no base model 94-98 mustang that doesnt say mustang in the bumper you idiot.

If i may interject here, the reason f body guys think we are d bags is because we do more per cubic inch then them. We dont need COOL SS hoods or SICK ws6 faggy hoods.. Our rear ends are far superior, and last but not least ... OUR SHITBOXES are still being made and didnt miss a model year

no 94-04 Mustangs came with a blank rear bumper from the factory... none, not one. Hub caps? Yes but I reckon only on some V6's.

Your driving a 17 second vert, singleport v6 mustang thats been wrecked and has a NON OEM replacement bumper with no lettering.

i love it, but i dont like throwing that much filler on my stuff, i always end up bumping into it and cracking the stuff

Its not that much Filler at all and there is Fiberglass strands in it and i doubt it will "crack off"

Probably a combination of the fact that it was poorly designed, had a tendancy to turn into a fireball in a rear end collisions, and probably didnt sell very well due to the poor design, quality, gayness, etc.
