I'm looking to put a new short throw shifter in my 98 gt. Any suggestions on who makes the best one?

Do a quick search on this - you'll find that there have been quite a few discussions on this topic. However, as mentioned - the MGW and Tri-Ax seem to be some consistent favorites.

MGW, I've had three (only two on car's though, lol). No shifter better, and you'll never ever hear a single complaint about it.

i had a pro-5.0 that was on when i bought the car, and it was worn out and sloppy as hell.

i've heard great things about mgw and steeda. i'd go with mgw

ok so I checked them both out, probably will go with the mgw. Quick question though. What does the adjustable shift stops do?

They make sure you don't overshift the transmission.

Except for the fact that the T-45 transmission has internal stops already.
