Midas Muffler said $400.00+
Local Auto Shop said $250.00 to 300.00 No Alignment
Kaufffman Said $350.00 to 400.00

What are your thoughts? Where else should i try?

It's SUPER easy. Do it yourself and take it straight to an alignment shop.

FYI, you dont need an alignment when changing the Shocks and Struts because you are not messing with any Caster Camber or Steering setting.

....install them yourself and call it a day.

....Its so easy to change them on our cars its ridiculous

The car should be aligned any time a suspension component is changed.

and as far as alignments go...you dont NEED one when changing just the shocks/struts. but it is a good idea to get one.

its just a waste of money to get a alignment after a Shock/Strut Change..... I highly doubt that it would change the alignment one bit

Unbolting the strut from the spindle will most definitely change your camber, how much I don't know, but it will change.

it wont change it one bit when you unbolt the strut from the spindle. The whole point of unbolting it from the spindle is so the camber alignment wont change.

Changing a strut from the CC plate is a Different story

I'll change em for $225 :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: J/K there is no better way to learn about your car than to do things like shock/strut changes. It really will help you to understand how everything goes together and how the system works. Good luck and as always take your time and do it right, and if you run into a problem just grab a really big f&$@ing hammer :rollinglaugh:

You can do the rears in about twenty minutes taking out the trunk panels is what takes the most time lol, and the frint aren't too much more work. You really dont need a lift just a little old jack.

Do not pay ANYONE more than $20 ya $20 not $200. That is easier than doing brakes. Thats a shit load of money for an hour hour. Hell thats taking your time. If you were going for like record wise I would say using a shitty jack you could get all 4 done in 30 minutes.
