S&W Race Cars makes a killer subframe connector set. It's $300 but is bolt-in (I welded mine) and makes a complete X under the car. By far the best out there.....

thanks Handzy.. i got the rev matching down.. any speed, RPM ill be dead on the money with if im paying attention. sometimes im not paying attention and will rev match and think i have it, release clutch and figure out.. OH nopes, dont have it cause the car will jerk but thats when im just not paying much attention.

i do want to learn to heel toe.. i dont autocross or hit up road courses but it looks fun and if i ever want to do that, i want to know how to heel toe.

and ill definitely keep the braided lines in my mind. i just thought they were to look pretty. ;D ;D :-[ also, no i have not done the gas pedal mod. thats why i think it was hard when i tried it because when i tried heel toe, i pressed the brakes in way to far just so i could reach the gas pedal. im guessing the mod brings the gas pedal towards the driver more?

so for anyone that wants so answer... what is the top priority in suspension.. you guys never said get the shocks/struts..

were you guys just assuming i was already buying them? i dont know how much of the suspension i will get but i need to know because im trying to finalize on things.

so in order, what should i get first. and also, how much of a difference with this stuff make? im trying to convince my dad so simply saying "Huge difference" wont really do much. could you guys kind of explain how it feels? sorry i know im asking a lot but i dont know much about suspension.

Aftermaket swap bars will mack one of the biggest differences.....the only way i can describe What aftermarket sway bars feel like is that it will make your car handle like a go-kart...No Joke..... Out of all my suspension mods, Sway bars did the most noticable right off the bat.

...second i would say the MM LCAs. LCAs gave me a Huge amount of control over the read end. I am able to tell exactly what it will do when it comes out and hold drifts all day long.

i noticed a big difference with my MM SFC... My Sway bars teamed with SFCs make the car handle tight and like a go kart.

in order, get these....

MM LCAs
MM SFCs
Suspension Techniques sway bars
03/04 cobra A arms

For shock/struts:Strange 10ways
Upper and lower control arms just buy the kit off 50resto.com it even come with sub-frames. Adjustibles wont get you very far if you dont know how to adjust them.
Pick up a nice set of sway bars and then just take out the front one with you go to drag, same with the shocks adjust them for the track when you go. I would just buy what people tell you. Do a lil research on your own, remember just cuz its expensive or cheap doesnt make it good or bad.

You have to be a complete Idiot to not know how to adjust the MM Adjustable LCAs.

.....If you want to raise the rear, turn it Counter-Clockwise

....If you want to Lower the Rear, Turn Clockwise.

they gave my car the PERFECT stance because i was able to fine tune the height.

DO THIS MOD ASAP, IT WILL MAKE HEEL-TOE, DOWNSHIFTING, AND REVMATCHING ALOT EASIER

man thanks so much Handzy! i really appreciate all the info man! fer realzzz... i am getting the Cobra A-Arms, MM LCA's, Suspension Techniques Sway bar, MM SFC's, and possibly one or two other things..

i can't wait to get all of this! :dancing6: :dancing6:

suspension is where my money will be going. driving a 400hp cobra would be fun... BUTTTT i think driving a 310-320hp (hopefully after tune) cobra with a good amount of suspension stuff would be more fun.

and im thinking im going to go with bilstein struts/shocks. they are about 70 bucks cheaper. i just dont know if they are adjustable....? also, is it OK to buy the stuff i said above and get the struts/shocks later? because i dont know if my dad is up for paying the extra 500 bucks for struts/shocks as I am getting a few other things for christmas not dealing with the car.

You dont have to, but it just makes it a lot easier since the suspension is all tore up.

The 03 Cobra fronts did make a slight difference for me. I havnt been able to really test out how much further I can turn just because I have almost 8* caster on my front tires because the camber plate holes were drilled wrong. :lame: But they are better.
Handz knows his stuff on suspension. So your getting some good advice. Next thing for me is gonna be the rear control arms.

And SgtMike you must be hating life. I remember when I first got my H&Rs and my shocks were toast. I literally flew out of my seat and had my seat belt lock up when I went through an intersection with a sharp hill in the middle :hammer: Having nice new shocks really tames the springs down.

Haha the bumps can be a little rough at times.

Just to ask again..

I am going to be in the same boat as Trey pretty soon. I think my stock shock/struts are living on borrowed time. These the ones we should get? http://stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=843
Or should we just get fox fronts and sn95 rears?
