So I'm wanting some of you guys opinions on what to do. I'm not throwing a lot of money at it, but a few well spent dollars to freshen it up a bit since I haven't done squat to it really and want to fix a few little problems. First off, the rear wing's clear is flaking off like crazy. It was a spot about the size of a dime when I bought it, now nearly half the wing's clearcoat is gone. So I was thinking about what to do about it. I pulled it off to see how it looked and honestly it looks like schit wingless and there were darker spots where the wing was so that means my paint is fairly faded. The bumpers have slightly different tones from teh rest of the body and I'm pretty sure its from the fading. Well the fading isn't too noticeable so I can live with that but now I've got to paint this here wing... I came up with painting it flat black and then putting on a set of flat black side strips to bring it all together. http://www.revolution-motorsports.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Dodge+SRT%2D4+Cuda+Stripes%21%21 Those are what I have in mind. So that covers the wing predicament. Now on to my wheels. My wheels are flaking bad. They've very apparently been painted twice and badly at that so I've GOT to do something with them. I'm going to have them sandblasted and either painted or powdercoated. I was thinking black, just because black/orange looks pretty good but I've been having second thoughts on it just because I'm overall not a fan of black wheels in general. What colors would you go with? I've also been considering painting the fins of my intercooler black to hide the bent fins and spray paint is always cheap for touchups. So what do you guys think? Few hundred and it'll look pretty decent I think. If the car was yours, what would you do? Remember- I don't want to spend too much on this, but I do want to fix this stuff.

Thanks

Laugh at his skittle all you want, it would probably put a quite a few cars on this site to shame sadly.

I'm asking for general opinions on whether or not they believe it would look decent. Pretty sure the only requirements for that is an imagination. Plus the SRTforums are a bunch of tools for the most part. Some good info there but I lurk more than anything.

Well my internet won't let me see what the "cuda stripes" look like, perhaps it would go together better to paint the center section of the
hood flat black, in front of the hood scoop, similar to what the Mach 1s did... But IMO, I haven't seen too many cars (other than the 69-70
Boss/Mach 1 mustangs) that can pull off the black accents look. To me it just looks like you don't have enough money to get the part painted
so it's still in primer.. So to answer your "if it were your car what would you do?" question, I would repaint the wing the factory Orange,
and get the wheels powdercoated a darker grey, "gunmetal" if you will.

Hellz yes on the gunmetal. SRT4 `round here has a black hood and black truncklid/wing with gunmetal rims. Looks hella good. Its red tho, not the orange.
