Hot enough, I have shitty suspension and it was a cold ass hell track but im just saying, its probably a better idea to go with slicks IMO

26x8.5x15 MT et slick 150 each, i have over 60 passes on this current set and not even a hint of being worn yet. still cut 1.62's on it and never ONCE did i lose traction. I have gone from a 3500 to a 4500 soft launch then to a 5500 dump and run. this next yea will be differnt helloooooo 6600 + launches

Duff, Joliet is too far for me, but i do want to eventually make it out to E-town......

Tbuck, dont waste the money on Nittos if they are going to be track only tires... the problem is the pony wheels are only 7" wide, so no tires will work well on it. better off getting some light stock 17" wheels and going with a MT et street....

This sucks..bought these pony rims and noone makes anything in a 16"..the only thing I can find thatll fit that doesnt break the bank is this..

Better than some fuzion zr1 z rated tires i'd imagine?

I can't believe that no one has asked this yet, but what kind of gears are you running? There is such a thing as too much traction, especially on what is a mostly stock engine?

^^ right. with WORE OUT bfg drag radials, I mean DRYROTTED and cracked, 5500 launch in my car with P heads and gt40 intake, stock cam and 1.7 rockers, and full exhaust, my car almost STALLED. (with stock gears.)

Too much traction?

You mean not enough power right? J/K

Yeah if you don't have the power or gear to get the car moving you need to feather the clutch on the launch.

I would never buy crappy tires because of bog. Buy the best tires you can afford and change launch style if you bog or spin.....

The car is an auto and Im going to install 3.73's this weekend. Traction is killing me i can't spray untill 2nd which Im sure is killing my et. Ran a 14.86 @ 101 with completely stock car except 100 shot and flowmaster mufflers. How much time can i expect to shave with gears and drag radials?

you ran the 14.86 with the 100 shot??? what 60'?

you have the mph for mid 13s if you get the 60' low enough...
