can i use a 87-93 5.0 nitrous kit that uses a throttle body plate style kit and a 95 5.0, does it just bolt up to the throttle body like it would on the fox intake?

i hope you haven't bought it b/c you're in for a surprise if you did. It will NOT bolt on there. The bolt pattern between a fox and sn95 throttle body is DIFFERENT. So NO your plate will NOT bolt up. You could probably grind a little here and there to make it "work" but it will look janky as hell.

If you have a fox intake it'll work, otherwise like was previously said, it won't line up right.

AS long as you put it between the intake and elbow it should be no problem.

You might have some difficulty getting your EGR tube hooked back up if you still have it installed.

why not get a nitrous nozzle....instead of a plate and put it after your air filter?

Ok IF you're doing it that way, that will be fine.

anywhere from 100hp to 150hp... the engine is still stock but ill be putting in a 4 bolt main dart block next winter so im not to worry about giving the stock block a bit more than safe.

If you're not planning more than 150 - then there's no reason to go to the trouble and expense of a plate kit. Get a simple wet kit with a nozzle and you'll be all set. Compucar, NX, Nitrous Works, etc...

Paul.
