SN95 Duck Tail Spoiler

Alright guys, I have done a search and I found a thread on here from a few years ago and I didn't really want to bring it back. Anyway, I am wondering if anybody knows where we can get a duck tail spoiler for our cars. Now im thinking of something like the old Trans-Am style spoiler.

That's the style I am looking at. There is one similar to the S197



Now, for mine I am not necessarily looking for a 3 piece. I just like the style, and am curious if there is one out for the SN.

xenon wing maybe?

If you don't like the xenon or saleen wings, then you can always custom make your own? Either a race style one or you can make a custom fiberglass one

Xenon, the S281 wing, and the T1 are the closest things we have to ducktails.

There is also the GR-40 spoiler for a pretty penny.

I saw someone modify a S281 by cutting off the front mounting points that stick out from the front of it that looked pretty good. I thought about doing it to mine but was busy on the back side of it.

Lol...ive actually cut out a leuwan template to transfer onto some aluminum sheet. 2pc and weld together. Also use the turn buckle/rod end look. This thread has inspiration for me to get in gear!!!

My vote would be for the Griggs GR40 but it is damn expensive. Another option is the Shinoda super spoiler. More of a whale tail then duck style but still close.

I think the xenon wing gets the closest to what I am looking for. The only problem I have with it is on the rear, it ads that hard body line above the light and I don't know how I feel about it yet. I was really thinking about doing the 281 wing (by the way [MENTION=11896]ttocs[/MENTION] that blend job looks great!) but I'm thinking it goes more out than up and I think it would make my car look too long. That GR-40 can kiss my @ss for $500! That's crazy. [MENTION=14727]96blak54[/MENTION] there is no better time than the present, I'm curios to see what you are coming up with too.

My idea rides along side the GR40 wing but more industrial looking. Ill try to source a pic.

There was a guy on SVT a few years back that made some Carbon Fiber ducktail style spoilers and was selling them on ebay. They were nice but at the time he was asking for over $500 and they didn't catch on. I have pics on my old laptop but it crashed and I haven't tried to rescue them yet

I really don't think I'm ready to spend that kind of cash on a spoiler. However, if you do get around to rescuing those pictures, I would love to see his product.

Also, im sure that guys stuff didn't take off because it was too damn expensive. If I was trying to spend that much on one I would get the GR-40 spoiler lol.
