Re: SN95 ET List

94 GT automatic convertable
car weighed 3540 lbs. with me in it ( i weigh 150 )
launched at 1,500 rpm
Hoosier drag radials w/26 psi

rt- .1061
60ft- 2.15
330ft- 5.9
et @594ft- 8.46
1/8 et- 8.93
1/8 mph- 80.65
1000ft et- 11.61
1/4 et- 13.682
1/4 mph- 103.85

i am kinda dissapointed with my time cause before on shitty ass no-name brand street tires and with stock 2.73 gears i was running a 14.1 and now with drag radials and 4.10's i'm only hitting mid 13's, i am trying to lower the weight and any other suggestions on how to help my ET would be great

street tires suck on the track. get some 315 Nitto 555R Extreme Drags, theyre fairly affordable ($175ish each). when i put them on my car they knocked 2/10's of my sixty on stock suspension parts and lowering springs (2.2's to 2.0's consistantly).

nice time slip btw O0

Re: SN95 ET List

thanks man, I keep thinking that is slow for this car. After more runs, we're consistently going 14.1 flat at 102 even with just about exactly 2.3 sixty foots no matter what I do. Too much throttle it spins, too much clutch it just gets out and feels slow. I think I need the same slow clutch slip with a lot more rpm (been doing 2000).

We really want some sticky tires but need a rear first...

on DR's you should be okay on the stock rear... im running my stock rear end with 170K miles on it. once i get my lca's and subframes installed we'll see how she hooks up. im also having a PI motor w/VT stage 1 cams, BBK (the black w/SOHC) or C&L plenum, 75mm BBK TB and a better flowing exhaust installed at the same time so...

i'll probably break something :-\

well i'm heading back to the track soon with new tires, changed the o/r x for an o/r prochamber, and a set of 3.73's so that will help i hope. Also i think that with the MPH i was pulling ( 6 runs constently around high 92 low 93 mph) if i had some traction i would have made 14's anyways, but who knows we'll see what happens.
