I have a dyno apt today at 4:00 PM. While this comparison wont be under ideal conditions It's the best I can do in my situation. The dyno run's will be just about one year apart but it will be during the same time of year weather wise (first run was july of-09) but as we all know weather can change drastically from day to day let alone from one year prior. Last year when I went the weather was warm and sunny, today is going to be cool and cloudy w/ a chance of showers. I'm bringing up the weather topic b/c as we all know dyno #'s can change based on this so if my numbers are different by not that much we can probably notch it up to that. If not then perhaps there is more power to be had w/ the fox TB set up. I'll list my previous and current set up and I'll post the results w/ a graph once I get back later today.

Previous set up:

PMAS 95MM Velocity meter, C&L pipe, Edelbrock/BBK 75MM Throttle Body,

Dyno numbers at this time, 338 RWHP 342 RWTQ

Current Set up:

PMAS 95MM Velocity Meter, Anderson 4" Power Pipe, Accufab 75MM Thottle body

Dyno Numbers : Pending......

Thanks, yeah like I said its not Ideal but this has been a debated topic for quite awhile. If there is an apparent difference it should show. This test was done before by someone else on stangnet but they went to a bigger TB and thats what many considered the gains to come from

Most good shops that dyno tune have the DA # readily available.... If u have the DA from the first pull, problem solved....

I did pull more HP/TQ but over all the test is moot b/c I was able to pull 2* more timing then the last time so the HP increase was effected more by that then the TB swap. The car was VERY lean on the first pull. He had to cut it short at 4,000 RPM's b/c it was up it the 15's for A/F. He wiped the tune out and started over, made some adjustments and adding some timing and the final results are below. Before it pulled 338/342. It gained some up top and most of the RPM range over the previous graph.

6 HP/5 ft gain..

Like you said, I would say a majority of that is from more fuel/timing. The swap probably didn't give you much of a gain BUT it does make life easier with a fox TB design. I miss being able to do work so easily on my Foxes.

I'm Happy, stick the throttle in second and it leaves two black strips :headbang: Even if I didn't add any HP/TQ the fact that it was so damn lean the re tune was well worth the time/money. Probably would have causes some serious issues running it at WOT runs the way it was before. Plus I got a little bit closer to 1 HP per Cubic Inch.

nothing but Accufab

I really like how my power does not even start to drop off until almost 6,000 RPM's. Most (other then built for high RPM) Push rods start to lose power by or at 5,500. I credit mine to the Ed Curtis Camshaft and the TFSR Intake :notworthy:

Not good for NA. 9:0:1

But its a great comparison for what im doing, i want to use the same intake but with trick flows 205cc heads on a 331 at 9.0 compression and then add a 88mm turbo. I figure ill make about the same power n/a as you.

Ive been debating a set of 205cc Trickflows for awhile now. Just trying to decide if the add HP will be worth the cost.

no, that takes all the fun out of it. That motor and compression + boost = 500 easy and 10's at the strip. Then I have nothing else to go for. 11's NA is much more impressive then 10's on boost.
