Just keep a lookout on craigslist, and corral.Deals pop up so you have to jump on them quick. Recently I saw a set of 4 03 cobra wheels with decent tires for like $350 over on corral. Back in the summer my dad bought 4 95 cobra Rs (two had 315 nitto, the other 2 were normal nittos) for $300 off craigslist. You just have to become a classified junky to get the good deal.

I like them also but you know how us pushrod guys are ..... Those wheels were offered on a 4.6 Modular. Not that i don't like the Modular i used to own a 04 DSG GT .

i'm with everybody else, you can get a good deal on the corral and craigslist for all four nice wheels with tires for less than what you want to spend. now if you really wanted to keep a stock appearance then okay do the tribar widening but then why are you buying the 99s? find an extra set of tribars that you need instead

It's not easy to find tri bars that are in good shape and when they do come around they are few and far between and they get snagged up so quick.


Not really a double standard when the 99-01 wheels weren't even offered on our body style. I will most likely do the Cobra wheels and also find some Tri Bars also.

i'd make a push to get the right one's.

you can get some pretty good wheel/tire packages for not much more thank 600 bucks with average tires.

I just got a email confirming i am going to pick up a set of 99 Cobra polished wheels for 190 Tires are basically shot but that means i can find the right tire for them. These are the ones i am getting even though they don't have center caps.
