I have a guy offering to buy my car for 5400.

Then I was thinking of this.

1998 Cobra

98 cobra I could score for 2500.

Take everything off that throw it on this 98 coupe

Then sell all the parts from the coupe I take off. Then the shell from the cobra and have less then 2500 into it. That would leave me some solid money to have a full suspension under it and also IRS and forced induction.

Now I know someone will say fix the cobra, but look at the possible frame rail damage and how the engine is shifted.

But seriously, seems like a sweet plan if you're willing to put in the work!
Don't fix the cobra, just shell it.

I'd fix the cobra as it sets and then sell off my coupe if I were you. I'd rather have a true cobra over a GT. tbh.

Or you could buy the v6, fix the motor, and throw that in the cobra. Then you'll have a super slow bent and beaten cobra with cool badges. Seriously though, if you're up for doing the whole swap and work, go for it. Sounds like a decent deal if the cobra driveline is doing fine.

Not a bad plan. Would be better if the cobra had IRS though. It's a ton of work. Well 2 tons of work.
