First off is my car details:
95 GT ( Stock 302/t45 trans combo )
King Cobra clutch ( 10.5" disc )
Pro 5.0 Short Shifter
3:73 gears
BBK CAI
275/40/17 rear tire ( sumitomo cheap SH*T at 15lbs of air )

So last night I decided to go out to the local street/drag races to see how I would fare. Surprisingly well to my amazement.
Kill List:
98 Z28 Camaro/6spd with bolt-ons ( win by 1/2 car )
Volkswagen Golf @ 16 lbs boost ( win by 2-4 cars, hard to tell exactly )
97 Integra w/ b20 swap and full bolt ons ( win by 6-8 cars )
2010 Challenger R/T ( win by 1-1 1/2 cars )

later that night me and the camaro ran one more time and i lost by half a car but hey, its was fun and my car ran alot better than I thought it would. :headbang:

Sounds like it would be fun. But if I owned any of those cars you ran and lost to a stock 5.0 I think I would be embarassed. Maybe I'm wrong but I would think they all should be able to take you.

that's what I was expecting! I didn't expect to win a single race. lol, Nobody out there believed my car was stock, until a group walked over to me and asked me to "prove my stockness" as they put it. So i opened the hood, and it hurt a few peoples feelings to say the least. lol

I held up even with a 00+ Trans am with my bolt on NPI last year. The gears make the best difference. Nice kills.

That R32 should be way over 300hp at 16psi and should of hauled everyone for how lite it is... Weird.

think maybe i'm wrong in volkswagen identification? i was told 16lb boost 4cyl, fwd 5spd. when we launched only his front wheels spun so.......... although it did have a r32 badge on the back of the car under the tail light.

cool cool. sounds like an fsi gti not an r32.

vr6t r32 on 16lbs should be in the 450+ area

now a 1.8 20v gti on 16lbs should be a tad slower and only net around 200/250

As for an fsi engine my friend had one and man it moved for having a tiny turbo. but it was totally stock, and never lined up with anyone.

my advice on vw's is this. if its water cooled and not an r32 or a euro model junk it. if its air cooled and newer then 65 baja it. if its older then 65 slam its guts on the ground and drive it.
