i was concentrating on the road (i was on the highway), and something on the dash caught my eye (dont know why), but i look at the speedo cluster and all of a sudden the speedometer drops to 0mph while im doing 65. So im thinking at this point im losing my power and the cars gonna die, NAY, but to my surprise it jumps back up to 65 like nothing happened at all, almost like it was playing a joke on me. I drove around for a little longer to see if it would do it again, but it didnt. Anyone got any idea on why it happened? maybe just a little burp? a hiccup? cough? sneeze? fart?

check around the transmission where the speedo driven gear plugs into. when i first bought my car, my car did the opposite. the speedo
never worked, and then it splurged up to 45 and then to 0 again.
