Sweet Jesus that was trashed. Nice to see another detailer around. Looks like it came out pretty good.

yesterday I was walkin my dog and noticed a girl was taking the time to touch up the paint on her kia. Would have almost felt proud too find a girl that wanted to take car and maintain her paint for the first time ever but when you see anyone touching up a dirty car with a rattle-can its more a face-palm situation....

It's amazing just how clueless people are when it comes to correct washing techniques. I just don't see how you get swirls like that. I detail a lot during the summer, and it never ceases to amaze me how people take (or don't take) care of their cars. I see a person's car as a reflection of themselves, so if you don't care a bit for your car I can only imagine how unsanitary the driver must be.

Here's one of mine from a few weeks ago. 150k mile Lexus. The paint had seen much better days, but the results were ok.

Those look like direct results of using either a junk ass gas station car wash or the brush at a jet spray car wash.

Yeah! What he said^^ I am getting pretty damn good at detailing but I can't get rid of those last slight bit of swirl marks you can see if you tilt your head to the sun at the right angle, know what I mean???

I used Megs Ultimate compound with my FLEX Random orbital buffer. That took out like 95% of swirls on the whole car. Then I hand waxed my car with iBiz Wax. That wax is fkin awesome, easy to apply and even easier to take off. And my cars black, one of the worst colors when it comes to swirls and scratches
