I know there are a million and one of these threads, but it seems no one ever has the same exact set up.

Anyway I recently came across some trickflow twisted wedge street heads for 800$, new in the box. And the guy also has a set of scorpion 1.6 rockers. for 150$ new in the box. So later today if everything goes right I am going to buy them.

Now my 95 gt has pretty much all the bolt ons you can get. Now I dont have too much money to spend, so as far as an intake and a cam im wondering what to get.

I was leaning towards just buying a 93 style cobra intake off of american muscle and just buy the elbow and I heard the steeda#19 is a good cam especially for the 94-95 computer.

Now with this car, I'd like to try and make about 280 to the wheels... Is this possible with that sort of set up?

So the mod list would look like this
Trickflow tw street heads
cobra upper and lower
steeda#19 cam

And as far as bolt ons that I do have..

BBK, equal length ceramic headers, bbk hi-flow Catted H pipe, mac cat-back, bbk cai, bbk 70mm tb, taylor wires, msd cap, frpp aluminum driveshaft, spec aluminum flywheel, king cobra clutch kit, 4.10's and a pro5.0 short throw.

Also another question... since I am running the stock injectors... Should I upgrade to 24's? And when doing so... do I have to buy a new mass air flow sensor? Or can the one on the car be calibrated for the 24's?

Any help is appreciated!

I would look at the TFS Stage 1 cam vs the Steeda cam.

The Anderson B31 cam is a good cam too.

you can look at trickflow themselves, I was considering getting most of there parts for my 94 5.0 block from a cobra.

i too would look at a stouter cam. i guess it really depends on what you want to accomplish with your setup. i think you would be leaving power on the table with those heads running your intake and cam choice personally. i would look at a setup that makes power to the 6-6500 range especially with the 4.10s you are running.

yes the steeda 19 cam is somewhat computer friendly, however to run the best you will need a tune regardless. i would look into 30lb injectors with the setup although the 24s should work ok.

you will need to change the mass air meter as well.

Well as far as cam, I want to go as big as I can go and still pass maryland emissions. That is my problem, and Since the cobra intake is so cheap, I thought I could buy that and have it ported.

I run the cobra intake and i am very happy with it, I know my car would benefit from a better intake due to my set up but i really don't race my car and it is rare when I smash past 4500rpm due to city driving! But I gotta tell you the car with the cobra intake is lots of fun to drive around; quick off the lights very good torque. I would recommend it if your driving style is similar. Now if you are planning to race it out every weekend then you might want to check out intake that will have higher power band range. You should be able to get to 280 with that set up. check out Flowtech Induction email Ed Curtis tell him your plans where and what you wanna do with your build he will guide you thru the right path! Good Luck!

Bigger is not always better, keep that in mind.

Buy an FTI cam then.

If your willing to spend ~$200 on a shelf cam, spend the extra $100 and get a custom cam.

you can still go bigger than a steeda 19 and pass emissions. thats all in the tune. buying a cobra intake then having it ported will end up costing more than buying a better breathing intake to start with. unless you are gonna port it yourself which unless you have some experience with that i would not recommend. i would look into a trick flow track heat or an eddy rpm intake. i have a typhoon and have been very pleased with that intake.

^ Its more of a budget build, anyway I found on craigslist a brand new BBK ssi intake manifold. It includes bbk fuel rails and a throttle body for $400. Everything is new except the throttle body which has 100miles on it.

Ok parts wise, so far I have the Trickflow Twisted wedge Street heads, Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers, and a BBK ssi intake manifold, upper and lower.

Now is there a link or number for ed curtis?

Also what size injectors should I be running with this set up? Please keep in mind the car needs to pass emissions.

for the cam i would shoot "freezy74" a pm on the corral. i have seen his cams first hand and they are worth every penny. this is coming from someone who has a ed curtis cam.
