This is random but who else absolutely hates messing with dipstick tubes? Just the complete hassle they are to install with various headers and heck to even remove. Omg....

When I had the Bassanis on my Boss block I had to cut the stock one out. It was leaking and I couldn't get it out to replace the o-ring. Between the header and motor mount it wasn't happening. I cut it out and switched to a Lokar flexible dipstick.

Haha I knew I wasnt the only one. I just had to cut mine out to get my long tube off and I had a hell of a time getting another on in its place with the new headers.

It was definitely a moment of wondering why I went with headers. And a little hate on Ford engineers.

The end of it is just slightly bigger then the stock tube. Seems like just enough that it will not fit. Beside that its so short after it make the slight turn past the headers it only long enough to hit the inner fender. I don't think I have anything nearby to mount it too and really do not want it slapping the fender. Anyone got installed pics?

Ive had one on my opd stock block set up and the new one i have fits my morrosso pan no probs on either set up. Obviously two different part numbers.

I had not been snaking it through the header. Once I did that it slid in just like the first time I spit on the tip. After cursing at it for nearly 30 mins last night I was just as excited tonight to feel it was nice and tight, but it would go....
